ISTANBUL’S DISTRICTS

The two main business districts of Istanbul are Maslak (Şişli) and Levent (Beşiktaş) both located on the European side of the city.

ISTANBUL’S TRANSPORTATION

Public transport in Istanbul comprises 2 lines of metro, tramways, suburban trains, a bus network, a metrobüs (bus rapid transit system), funiculars, and maritime services (ferryboats) to serve more than 13 million inhabitants.

You can also use dolmuş to travel. Dolmuş are share taxis that run set routes within and between cities. They depart from the terminal only when a sufficient amount of passengers have boarded.
